Connecting the bot

To get started, you need to create a new bot. To do this, go to @BotFather (this is Telegram’s internal system bot for creating bots).

Then:

  1. Enter the command /newbot
  2. You’ll be asked to choose a name — for example, Elfo
  3. Next, choose a username for your bot — it must end in “bot”, for example: elfo_bot
  4. BotFather will send you your personal bot token (in this format: 123456789:bkuq0NdoUuP7Mw0). Copy this token!
  5. Now go to Luci and send the token to him.

If everything is done correctly, Luci will open your minion’s settings page.
